Under the scheme "PANI ADVA PANI JIRVA" various water shed development works was started. Permanent water supply schemes, Temporary water supply schemes, substitute water supply schemes was started to fight against drought. |

: Started development work to Tuljapur city by getting sanction of Rs.5.00 crores for the Special Programme of Tuljapur City Development. Got sanctioned construction of Tuljapur Bus Stand worth for Rs.1.00 crore. Survey work for M.I.D.C. Tuljapur Area after finalisation of site the project send to approval. To increase in irrigation capacity of taluka started various Minor Irrigation Projects. To get water from Ujani Dam constant follow-up was made and gets sanctioned to give water for Tuljapur Taluka and started survey work. : Khandoba Panan Sahakari Sanstha Ltd., Andur was established and through the sanstha farmers were supplied Seeds, Seedings, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Medicines on reasonable rates.

: As a MLA of Tuljapur taluka generated huge employment for unemployeeds of Tuljapur Taluka during drought type positon for consecutive three years 2001-2004.
: In the Maharashtra State a systematic programme was carried out to create large employment for 32,000 labourers. During this tenure various water shed development programmes were taken. 4200 Mud Nalah Bunding were completed. 154 Percolation Tanks were constructed. So many programmes such as Contour Bunding. compartment Bunding were carried out in the benefit of farmers.
: By way of making 37 storage tanks 32000 Ha. area got irrigated under the banner of Krishna Vally Development Corporation. Also tried to get compensation to the farmers, who had lost their land under the acquisition for the project.
: Connected 27 Laman Tandas and 17 Wadis under Special programme of Road construction. These places were not connected to the main stream since the independence.
: Permanent water supply schemes were sanctioned at 42 villages within Tuljapur taluka, also waived 10% public share in water supply schemes. A huge share of Govt.funds around 18 crores were saved. Out of which 23 W.S.S. were started and remaining 19 were in progress. By way of water supply scheme a fundamental need was fulfilled and permanent water supply arrangement was made. Under E.G.S. programme various water
shed development programmes were completed if in future less rainfall happens, these schemes will benefit people. As the benefit of water shed development programme, farmers can fight with drought type position if appeared in future.
: In the Zilla Parishad & Panchayat Samiti Elections due to effective campaigning, Congress Party got clear majority in Panchayat Samiti. In Zilla Parishad Elections out of 9 seats 4 seats were won and 3 seats lost by little margin. |
