The Officer In-charge, BVC Goregaon sub-campus shoulders the responsibilities of the Goregaon campus which
includes Administration of Staff & Students of First & Second Year
Classes, Veterinary Polyclinic & Other Departments, Library, Boys' &
Girls' Hostel, Staff Quarters, Welfare Center, Livestock Development
Farm, Fodder Development Farm & Medicinal Plant Scheme.

Veterinary Polyclinic
The Bombay Veterinary College Polyclinic is located on Western
Express Highway at Goregaon (E), next to Mahananda Dairy, Mumbai -
400 065.

Established in 1984 this Polyclinic was started with the aim of imparting training to Under Graduate and Post Graduate Students, for Post Graduate training and cater to need of livestock and Pet Owners in the vicinity of Goregaon.
This is the only Veterinary Polyclinic in Mumbai City with
specialist from various clinical disciplines like Surgery, Medicine,
Gynaecology and Pathology.
The OPD (Out Patient Department) is open from 10 A.M. to 12.30 Noon
on all working days except Sundays. Vaccination is carried out
during OPD hrs. A case requiring special attention like Surgery,
Intensive Care, USG are attended between 2 to 4 noons by prior
appointment.
The speciality includes both major and minor surgery in pet animals,
medical cases requiring special attention USG and also lab examinations.
Apart from treatment and research the Polyclinic also carries out
extension activities like preventive vaccination against Distemper (DHLP),
Rabies and Corona virus in Pets while tetanus vaccination in goats and
horses.
Staff of Polyclinic provides extension service to Sanjay Gandhi National
Park, Dairy Owners, Poultry Owners, Piggery units in vicinity of Mumbai
& Thane.

Hostel
Boys' and Girls` Hostel with a capacity of 180 students and 48 students respectively are available at the Goregaon Campus.
WELFARE CENTER
Facilities for all sorts of exercise are provided to the boys at the
Welfare Center. Such facilities for girls have been provided at
Girls Hostel itself.
LIBRARY
The Library is well equipped with internet facilities. The Text
Books & Journals & News Papers are kept here for the benefit of the
students & staff.
