Training programmes Organised:

1)      Educational methodology and instructional technology programme. The training programme entitled,” Educational Methodology and Instructional Technology programme” was organized for 50 staff members and Co-ordinated by me with the help of NAARM ,Hyderabad from 15-21 , March 2003. 

2)      Refresher traing course for AI workers from the field a Total of 105 trainign were trained on AI technique during 07/02/2005 to 18/03/2005


Major Contributions:

  1. A Standard protocol of a technique called milk progesterone Enzyme immunoassay was developed for early pregnancy diagnosis in cow and was published in Indian Vety. Medical Journal, 1987.
  2. A chapter entitled milk progesterone enzyme immunoassay was contributed in a book entitled “Non-isotopic immunoassays and their application Ed.G.P. Talwar,Vikas Publication, New Delhi 1984.
  3. The follicular response to synthetic gonadoliberin (GNRH) was studied in  anoestrus cows and was published in international  Journal of Animal  Reproduction - Theriogenology from USA in 1985.
  4. Several research projects ware planned, formulated and successfully implemented in the area of animal reproduction.
  5. I have successfully implemented an ICAR adhoc project as Principal  Investigator during 1993-96 at Veterinary College,Udgir.
  6. I was co-coordinating Center Principal Investigator of a National Agricultural Technology project Vide code No.PSR-60 entitled “Improving  reproductive efficiency of cows and buffaloes”.
  7. I have guided more than 32 post graduate student whose Research   articles have already been published in journals of Repute.
  8. With my special interest in research and students counseling, I have published a book entitled “Job opportunities and learning Avenues for graduates of agricultural University, along will Hon. Vice-chancellor of our  esteemed University.
  9. As a contribution in the field of my specialization, I have published more than 263 publications in the journals of repute.

  1. Recipient of Best Young Scientist Award by Indian Society for the study of Animal Reproduction , Hissar 1991.
  2. Recipient of Maharashtra state Merit Scholarship From 4th Standard.
  3. Selected for ICAR Merit cum Schholarship during B.V.Sc. & A.H.
  4. Recipient of Merit Scholarship at PAU ,, Ludiana during PG studies.
  5. Recipient of CSIR Junior Research Fellowship for Ph.D. at PAU, Ludhiana.
  6. Recipient of CSIR Junior Research Fellowship for Ph.D. at IVRI, Izatnagar.
  7. Secured FIRST position in order of Merit in ARS - 1982 Exam.
  8. Selected for Comonwealth Post-Doctoral Acadmic Staff Exchange Fellow  ship for 1991-1992 at University of Liverpool, U.K.
  9. ISSAR fellowship award 2003 for outstanding contribution in the field of  Animal Reproduction. Dr Suryakant Mishra, Minister of Health Presented the       award, Government of West Bengal in recently concluded ISSAR Annual  Convention during 22-24, Aug2003 at Kolkata.
