It gives me great pleasure to inform you all about the launching of the COVAS Parbhani Intranet Portal.
Access from home for staff and students
From the menu at the top of this page, you'll see various links. By
logging into this with your username and password, you can access your
Intranet messages, send messages or emails to other users from any
internet machine....anywhere in the world! Besides now being able to
access your work from home, you can share files, join and create teams.
This means that there's no more need for disks, or emailing work to
yourself to access it elsewhere. Just think....you get to do college
work all the time if you want! At home.... on holiday.... This method
of delivery and support will allow students access to previously taught
materials for revision and also if learning sessions are missed due to
illness students are able to keep themselves up to speed. The purpose
of the intranet is to provide convenient, easy to use, and secure
access to the online facilities.
Security / Confidentiality
For the protection of the entire institution, users are expected to act responsibly with respect to security. Do not reveal your password or allow anyone else to access your account. It is also not acceptable for any individual to gain, or attempt to gain, unauthorized access to another user's computer, data, or other technology resources. Attempts to destroy, alter, prevent authorized access, compromise the integrity of systems, propagate computer viruses, or disguise a user's name or the origin of any transmission are strictly prohibited.
Authorized users of management information systems are expected handle all data they access appropriately with respect to dissemination to third parties. Information should not be viewed or transmitted to another individual except for legitimate business or educational purposes and with the appropriate authorizations.
