• Acted as the Major Advisor/Research Guide for one M. Sc. (Animal Husbandry) student and as the member of advisory committee of Twelve M. Sc. (Animal Husbandry) students and 2 M.V.Sc. students.

• Received Dr. Swaminatha Iyer Memorial Award 1992 of Indian Veterinary Journal for the best clinical article for the research paper "Incidence of Foreign body syndrome in dogs"-I.V.J.69 (4): 342-348

• Excellent Worker Award 2002 of Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Nagpur for contribution in the Animal Birth Control Programme in dogs & other Animal Welfare Activities of the SPCA.

• Received the second best paper award 2002 of Indian Journal of Dairy Science for the research paper "Characteristic of dairy owners, their awareness, adoption and constraints in adoption of artificial insemination practices in Vidarbha region"-Indian J. Dairy Sci. 54(4) :194-202.
