WBBSE Madhyamika Examination 2026 Passing Criteria
To be declared successful in the WBBSR Madhyamik Examination 2026, conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, a student is required to secure a minimum of 272 marks out of 800, which corresponds to an aggregate score of 33%.
Since each subject carries a total weightage of 100 marks, comprising 90 marks for the theory examination and 10 marks for internal assessment or practicals, it is mandatory to obtain at least 30 marks out of 90 in the theory component and a minimum of 4 marks out of 10 in the practical or internal assessment component.
Even if your overall aggregate score reaches 272 or higher, you will still be declared unsuccessful in the examination if you fail to meet the minimum passing requirement in even a single subject.
