Assam HSLC Passing Criteria 2026

To be declared successful in the SEBA Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate Examination 2026, you must secure a score of 30% in each subject. Since each subject carries a weightage of 100 marks, it is mandatory for you to obtain a minimum of 30 marks in every subject.

Furthermore, please take note that for subjects where a practical component is applicable, it is mandatory to secure 27 marks out of 90 in the theory paper and 3 marks out of 10 in the practical paper; if you fail to meet both of these requirements, you will be declared unsuccessful in the examination.

Since the Assam Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate Examination 2026 is scheduled to be declared on April 10, 2026, it is expected that all students will begin receiving the physical copies of their marksheets starting from the second week of May 2026.
