It is mandatory that you have secured at least a 65% score in a qualifying degree; a 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement is applicable for SC, ST, and PwBD.
Age Limit
- All Streams: 21 to 27 years as of February 1, 2026.
If you are above the upper age limit, you may claim the age relaxation, which is 3 years for OBC-NCL and 5 years for SC and ST, but you must have the required documents. There is additional age relaxation of 10 years for PwBD.
HLL MT Application Fee 2026
If you belong to UR, OBC, or EWS, you are required to pay the application fee of 1,000 rupees with 18% GST, which means the total payable amount is ₹1,180. SC, ST, and PwBD are exempted from the application fee payment.
The application fee, which will be paid if applicable for you, is non-refundable, which means under any circumstances you won’t get a refund. You may pay the required fee using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
HLL MT Selection Process 2026
As per the Advt. No. HLL/HR/020/2026, the selection process consists of four stages in total for the appointment of management trainees under the HLL. These stages are as follows:
- Computer-Based Test
- Preliminary Interview
- Psychometric Assessment
- Final Interview

In the computer-based test, there will be 100 MCQs (multiple-choice questions) from two parts:

- Part II (50 MCQs) Domain/Discipline Knowledge
Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark; there is no provision of negative marking. To touch all MCQs in Part 1 and Part 2, you will have the time durations of 30 minutes and 60 minutes, respectively. The medium will be English.
HLL MT Pay Scale 2026
If you are appointed as a management trainee under HLL Lifecare Limited, you will get a salary as a deputy manager (E1 grade), whose basic pay ranges from ₹40,000 to ₹140,000 under the 7th Central Pay Commission.
