MAFSU BVSc & AH Admission 2026-27

MAFSU offers admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry through the NEET-UG score. Students who are seeking admission for the academic year 2026-27 are required to first appear in the NEET-UG 2026, whose registration started on February 8, 2026, and is going to last until March 8, 2026.

The Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University is expected to release the application form for MAFSU BVSc & AH Admission 2026 in the first week of July 2026, and then a window to apply will be available for around two weeks. Students who will have cleared the NEET-UG 2026 will be able to apply online for it.

MAFSU BVSc & AH Admission Important Dates 2026

MAFSU BVSc & AH Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

To apply for the MAFSU BVSc & AH Admission 2026-27, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are an Indian citizen.
  • You have passed the Class 12 exam with PCB and English.
  • You must have qualified for the NEET-UG 2026.
  • You shouldn’t be younger than 17 years as of December 31, 2026.

The minimum requirement in the Class 12 exam is a 50% and 47.5% aggregate score for general and reserved category candidates, respectively.

MAFSU BVSc AH Admission Reservation Rules 2026-27

For the BVSc & AH course at the veterinary constituent college of Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University, 70% of seats are for the reserved category candidates and 30% are for the open. The details for the category-wise number of seats can be found from the below.

  • SC – Scheduled Caste: 13%
  • ST – Scheduled Tribe: 7%
  • VJ/DT (A) – Vimukta Jati / Denotified Tribes (Category A): 3%
  • NT (B) – Nomadic Tribes (Category B): 2.5%
  • NT (C) – Nomadic Tribes (Category C): 3.5%
  • NT (D) – Nomadic Tribes (Category D): 2%
  • OBC – Other Backward Classes: 19%

The horizontal reservation is also applicable; 30% of seats are reserved for female aspirants, 5% for the physically handicapped, and 1% for orphan candidates.

MAFSU BVSc AH Admission Application Fee 2026

In order to apply for the MAFSU BVSc AH Admission 2026-27, it is mandatory that you pay the application fee. A candidate who belongs to the open category is required to pay the application fee of ₹1,000, and for reserved category candidates, it is mandatory to pay ₹700.

Candidates who are non-resident of Maharashtra are required to deposit the application fee of ₹1,000. You can pay it using the debit card, credit card, NET banking, or other provided payment gateway by the due date.
