What’s the OSSTET 2026 Passing Criteria?
The OSSTET 2026 is conducted for 2 papers in which Paper 1 is for Trained Graduate Teacher and Paper 2 is for Physical Education Teacher.
Irrespective of the paper you have participated in, to be declared successful in the examination, it is necessary for you to obtain minimum qualifying marks or more, which are different for different categories.
- If you belong to the unreserved category, then in this case you need to score 45% marks out of 150, i.e., 64 marks.
- For reserved category candidates, i.e., aspirants who belong to the socially and economically backward class (SEBC), scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), and physically handicapped (PH), the minimum requirement is 35% out of 150, which is 53 marks.
Keep in mind that if you fall even one mark short of the minimum requirement, you will be declared failed in the OSSTET 2026.
