PSTET 2026 Passing Marks
The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab, has announced the passing marks for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test 2026. To be declared successful, you need at least a 60% score, i.e., 90 marks out of 150, if you belong to the unreserved category.
If you belong to the Other Backward Class Schedule Caste, you need at least a 55% score, i.e., 82 marks out of 150. Note that the minimum requirement to pass the PSTET 2026 for Paper 1 and/or 2 for PH candidates is the same as their category: UR, OBC, and SC.

PSTET 2026 TET Certificate
All candidates who successfully clear the Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 will be awarded a TET certificate, which will remain valid for a lifetime. Essentially, it is required for appointment to a teaching position in any primary or upper-primary school within Punjab.
