A CBT examination for recruitment to various paramedical posts under the Indian Railways was conducted by the RRBs on March 11, 12, and 13, 2026. It was held to fill a total of 443 vacancies, attracting a large number of candidates from across the country, who are now awaiting the answer key release.

The answer key for the RRB Paramedical CBT examination is a crucial document that assists candidates in evaluating their tentative scores. The window for raising objections will open concurrently with the release of the answer key and is expected to remain active for approximately 5 to 6 days. To raise an objection, it is essential that you must have a creditable source or proof, as you will be required to provide it.

There is no limit on the number of questions against which you may raise an objection; if you believe that the answer key contains errors in the answers to more than one question, you are free to raise objections against all of them.

Please note that raising an objection requires the submission of a fee of ₹50 per question. The fee is refundable only if your claim is accepted; if your objection is rejected, no refund will be issued.

How to raise an objection to the RRB Paramedical Answer Key?

To raise an objection against the answer key of the RRB Paramedical CBT Examination, you need to log in as mentioned in the step-by-step instructions and click on the ‘Objection Form’ option instead of ‘Candidate Responses’. 

After that, you have to choose the question ID, language and nature of objection and upload proof of objection and pay the required amount using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway.

How to evaluate scores using the RRB Paramedical Answer Key?

To evaluate score using the answer key of RRB Paramedical CBT examination, you need to firstly under that in this examination each question has weightage of 1 mark and there is a provision of negative marking of ⅓ mark.

Now, by comparing your responses with the answer key, you must determine, out of the total 100 questions, how many of the questions you attempted were answered correctly and how many were answered incorrectly.

From the total count of correct answers, you must subtract the number of incorrect answers multiplied by ⅓; the resulting figure will represent your tentative score of the RRB Paramedical CBT examination.

Let’s understand this with an example: suppose you attempted only 90 out of 100 questions, of which 81 were correct and 9 were incorrect. In this scenario, the marks to be deducted from your score of 81 would be 9 × 1/3; thus, your final score would be 81 – 3, resulting in 78.
