The CISCE held the Class 10 (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) and Class 12 (Indian School Certificate) exams for the academic year 2025-26 from February 17 to March 30, 2026, and February 12 to April 3, 2026, in which more than 4 lakh students have participated.
After the examination, the next crucial step is result declaration. The results for these examinations will be out soon. Not only students but also parents are waiting for the result release. The CISCE usually takes four weeks to evaluate the answer sheet, prepare the result and make it public.
As the examination concludes on March 30, 2026, and April 3, 2026, for Class 10 and Class 12, it is anticipated that the council may release results in early May 2026. How to check the CISCE ICSE/ISC result 2026?
The council will announce the ICSE and ISC examination results very soon. After the release, students or their parents can check by going through the step-by-step guide.
- Navigate to the CISCE result portal.
- Choose the course as ICSE or ISC.
- Enter your UID and Index Number.
- Fill in the CAPTCHA, as shown on the webpage.
- Click the Show Result button.

- Tap on the Login / Register button.
- Fill in a mobile number and click on the Continue button.
- Enter a six-digit security PIN and hit the Verify button.
- Choose the OTP option and fill in the six-digit one-time password received on the entered number.
- Click on the ICSE/ISC Examinations 2026 Result option.
- Fill in the UID and index number and click on the View Results button.
Passing Criteria
To pass the CISCE ICSE or ISC examinations in 2026, it is mandatory to secure the minimum requirement in each paper. Class 10 students need at least a 33% score in each paper and aggregate, and Class 12 requires 35%.
Note that it is mandatory to get the minimum requirement in at least 5 papers and 4 papers for ICSE and ISC, respectively, including English. Failing to meet the minimum requirement in two or more papers results in being unsuccessful in the examination.
Pass Certificate
The passing certificate is a crucial document for students who took part in the ICSE and ISC examinations in 2026. It is proof of passing the examination. The physical copy of the pass certificate is received a few weeks after the result release on the website.
The CISCE sends the pass certificate physical copies to school for all passed students, and then the school distributes them among the students that carry the name, date of birth, school name, subject-wise score, and many other details that are also mentioned on the online result.
What’s next after the CISCE Result 2026?
It is important to understand the next step after the CISCE examination 2026 result. ICSE-passed students will be able to take admission for class 11 or pursue a diploma or ITI and even sit in the competitive examination held for matriculation level, such as SSC MTS and RRB Group D.
ISC students can take admission for general or professional undergraduate degrees or do diploma courses. After class 12, many job opportunities are available. They can sit in SSC CHSL, RRB NTPC, and other intermediate-level competitive examinations.
