Exam Timing
The UPPRPB will conduct the Home Guard written examination on schedule dates in two shifts. The first shift will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the second from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm. But to participate in it, each applicant is required to report at the allotted examination centre at least an hour before the examination commencement.
What should I carry with the UP Home admit card?
To participate in the written examination for the UP Home Guard, candidates need to carry a photo identity card with an admit card. The documents that applicants can carry are their Aadhar card, voter ID card, PAN card, driving licence and passport, but the personal information on the ID must match with the details mentioned on the admit card.
Exam Pattern
The UPPRPB will conduct the written examination for the UP Home Guard in offline mode using the one sheet with a total number of 100 objective-type questions from general knowledge. Each carries a weightage of 1 mark, and there is also a provision of negative marking of ¼ mark, meaning in case of any incorrect response, 0.25 mark will be deducted.
To touch all questions, each candidate is all set to get a time of 120 minutes, and the medium is English and Hindi, which means questions on the paper will be in both languages.
