SSC GD Admit Card 2026, Online Examination Hall Ticket Release On 25 April 

Candidates who want to get appointed to positions of Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (General Duty) under the different undertakings of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, have registered to participate in the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026.

To participate in the examination, a total number of 4,883,309 candidates have registered against a total number of 25,487 vacancies, meaning for each vacancy roughly 191 candidates are set to appear in the examination. The organisation that is going to conduct the examination is the Staff Selection Commission. The SSC will be held in four weeks:

  • 27 April to 2 May 2026
  • 4 May to 9 May 2026
  • 18 May to 23 May 2026
  • 25 May to 30 May 2026

To participate in the examination, the admit card is a crucial document. In some states, it is also referred to as a hall ticket. Note that a single candidate among the 48.83 lakh applicants will get its physical copy; each one has to download it from the commission’ website and make a print copy to carry it for the respective exam centre.

The admit card will be available for download from April 25, 2026, for the examination schedule on the 27th of the examination. For the examination schedule after that, the hall will be available for download exactly 3 days prior. How to download the SSC GD Admit Card 2026?

To download the admit card for the examination, please go through the step-by-step instructions.

  • Visit the Staff Selection Commission’s website for the certain regions.
  • Tap on the ‘Admit Card for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026’ and go to the login page.
  • Enter your registration number and password.
  • Click on the Submit button.

Exam Day Guidelines 

To participate in the examination, the candidate is required to reach the allotted centre at least an hour before the commencement timing. Each applicant will be asked to show a photo identity card with the physical copy of the admit card; if either of these documents isn’t available, entry won’t be allowed.

It is totally prohibited to carry any electronic devices at the centre; if any aspirant has a mobile phone, digital wristwatch, calculator or any other electronic article, the individual will be barred from sitting the examination. 

Exam Pattern 

The examination will take place in online mode using the computer-based test. There will be a total number of 80 MCQs from four different subjects. 20 questions are going to be asked from each General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English or Hindi, depending on the chosen language.

Each question carries a weightage of 2 marks, and there is also a provision of negative marking of 0.25 marks. To touch on all questions, each candidate will have a time duration of 60 minutes; PwBD candidates will get an extra 20 minutes. The medium of the examination is either English and Hindi or the regional language of the state or UT.
