Minimum Passing Marks

To pass the UP Board class 10 or 12 examination in 2026, it is mandatory for each student to get at least a 33% score in each paper as well as an aggregate. Pupils are required to meet the minimum requirement separately in theory and practice if the practical component is applicable in any subject.

Not failing to meet the minimum requirement in either component for any subject results in being declared unsuccessful. Let’s understand it with an example: if a candidate gets a 350 score as an aggregate but secures only 25 marks in mathematics, he/she will be declared a failure, as the student doesn’t get 33% in each paper.

Result Physical Copy

The result’s physical copy, i.e., the original marksheet, is proof of passing the examination. Students who took part in the class 10 or 12 examination in 2026 will get it within a month after the result, meaning they can expect to get it by the last week of May 2026.

The original copy of the result is all set to be received from the admitted school; to get updated regarding its availability, students are highly recommended to be in touch with the respective school. Collecting it is mandatory, as it is required for further reference.

Topper List

The UPMSP will release the topper list for classes 10 and 12 with the results. The one who will get the highest score in the examination will be the topper; for the intermediate, the list will show the names of the three first-rank holders for the science, commerce, and arts streams.

The topper list will be available on the board’s website as a PDF, and students/parents can download it without providing any login credentials. To stay updated, make sure you keep an eye on the web portal.
